Litespeed Bikes
Litespeed bikes have been pushing the limits of cycling technology since 1986. The offshoot of a family-owned machine shop that specialized in working with exotic metals, Litespeed bikes first experimented with manufacturing bike frames out of titanium. They produced Titanium bikes with superior stiffness-to-weight ratio, providing an excellent ride quality that no one else could match at that time. When the end of the Cold War suddenly made this rare metal more abundant, bike manufacturers realized the advantages of using Titanium. Lance Armstrong scored two wins during the individual time trials of the 1999 Tour de France riding a Litespeed Blade bike. Aerologic is the result of years of painstaking research and experimentation on improving and optimizing the aerodynamic qualities of its bike frames without adding on any more weight.
